Willie got in touch with me a while ago to be there when he asked his girlfriend to marry him. He was going to charter a beautiful yacht for the evening and then pop the question out at sea at sunset.
It took a bit of planning and I must admit I did tell a couple of white lies to explain why I’m on the boat, but like to think that Marcell didn’t suspect anything. (there’s not many places to hide on a boat!) I did manage to steal a few shots as we were cruising past Table Mountain until Rochelle asked if I’d mind taking a few photos of the two of them (she thought I was commissioned by the charter company). I knew then that the white lies paid off!
