Janis (US) and Martin (Nederland) tied the knot at Strandkombuis last week. I had an absolute blast and the best word to describe their wedding must be FUN!!! (and lots of it!)
It’s a Dutch tradition for the groom to bring the bride her flowers before the wedding and also do the ‘couple shoot’ then. One of the girls found an old pitch fork in the kitchen (where else would you keep a pitch fork?) and Janis insisted we just had to get one of those cheese ‘antique’ shots – ‘Shure!’: I said. (You don’t argue with a girl holding a pitch fork.)
