Jennifer and Clint recently eloped from the States to come and get married here in South Africa. I met up with them a couple days after they got married for a quick shoot around Cape Town which ended up in an impromptu trash the dress!! (That’s what you get for daring an American girl!)

I met up with Irene and Patrick last week to shoot their ‘intimate wedding’ (them + 4 guests) in Cape Town. They are from Germany and decided to get married here in sunny South Africa!

Monique & Paul – The Bay Hotel (Ratanda)

I was at the St George’s Cathedral again this week for Monique and Paul’s wedding. Their reception was held at the popular The Bay Hotel (Ratanda) in Camps Bay.

Some techno jargon for all the photographers out there – This is the first wedding I shot with my new Canon 1D mk4 and to be honest…. this thing kicks butt!! I was never completely comfortable with my 5D mk2 and always preferred using the 1D mk3 as my main body.

Sabrina & Gian – Twelve Apostles

Sabrina & Gian had an intimate wedding ceremony yesterday at the Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa. It was a lucky day… a very, very lucky day; not only did the weather hold up I also managed to spot this bad puppy below just in time!! Way to close for comfort.

I’m no snake expert, but I’m pretty sure that’s a Cape Cobra *Update – It’s a Pufadder – Thanks Lisa!
