I made the newspaper!!

I grew up and went to school in Paarl. It’s a beautiful town about 40 minutes drive from Cape Town that dates back to the 1600′s and is surrounded by picturesque mountains and famous wine farms. I was truly honoured to have an article published about me and my recent accomplishments in the local newspaper last week. Although I moved away about 13 years ago it will always be home. I haven’t gotten my hands on a copy of the newspaper yet, but my mom bought about 5 and I will post a scan of the article here soon. Here’s a link to the online version in the mean time.

And the great news is….. I won the annual Wedding photographer of the year competition hosted by Sarie Bruid, True Love Bride and Fairlady Bride magazines!!! This is truly a great honour to receive this amazing award and a big thank you to Media24 for the stunning prize. 7 Glorious days in Madagascar!

I feel so blessed to be able to earn a living by doing what I love the most and often find myself thinking: “I can’t believe I’m actually getting paid to do this. This is way too much fun to be work!!!” A really BIG thank you to everyone who supported and encouraged me over the last couple of years.
